Nouveaux effets pour la basse
Alors que le la première mouture du BR-1600CD proposait deux modèles d’amplis de basse, la version 2 en ajoute six autres non moins COSMiques. Cette même version propose en plus des effets overdrive/distorsion COSM provenant du GT-6B ainsi que les algorithmes suivants: «2x2 Chorus», «Humanizer», «Vibrato», «Slow Gear» et «Ring Modulator». A partir de la version 2, l’ordre/le routage des blocs d’effets est modifiable à volonté.
La boîte qui fait chanter de joie
Corriger des problèmes de justesse, ajouter des chœurs… voilà des outils souvent sollicités par les détenteurs d’un BR-1600CD. La version 2 amplifiera encore cette sensation de sécurité absolue, grâce notamment à une correction en temps réel pouvant être limitée aux endroits où elle s’impose (la «Vocal Tool Box» de version 1 travaillait par unités de demi-tons). La fonction «Harmony Sequence” est également devenue plus performante et propose un contrôle plus fin sur les paramètres.
Synchro MIDI
Enfin, l’enregistrement et la lecture du BR-1600CD peuvent être synchronisés avec un deuxième BR-1600CD ou tout autre dispositif MIDI capable de lui transmettre des signaux MTC («MIDI Time Code»). Ainsi, l’union de votre BR-1600CD avec celui d’un ami peut faire la force d’un studio d’enregistrement 32 pistes avec 16 entrées disponibles simultanément!
