Did you know that there are over 4,000 different items in Hypixel SkyBlock, compared to the mere 199 items in Minecraft 1.8.9? Navigating through these custom items can be confusing, given their similar appearances. However, there’s a solution to this dilemma – downloading the free FurfSky Reborn texture pack for Minecraft.

Developed by a team of over 50 individuals, this pack has evolved from the original FurfSky+ pack, boasting a legacy spanning over four years. More than anything, the current developer team would like to emulate the original style on all new SkyBlock items. Please note that it is not an unofficial continuation, because it is approved by furf.

Whether you’re exploring the Crimsons, Garden, or Rift Isles, FurfSky Reborn adds new textures. Available for Minecraft 1.8.9 and lower, the pack can be downloaded from our file section further below. By the way, it also works with Forge and OptiFine.

FurfSky Full vs Overlay Version

The pack comes in two variants: a full version that includes textures for menus and mod menus for popular SkyBlock mods, and an overlay version with item textures only.

The recommended choice for those seeking an all-encompassing transformation of their SkyBlock gameplay is the full version of the FurfSky Reborn texture pack. It adds new textures for most SkyBlock items and vanilla Minecraft items and blocks. But the changes don’t stop with items and blocks; the full version includes UI textures tailored for major SkyBlock mods.

For those who prefer more minimalist Minecraft textures, the overlay version of FurfSky Reborn is the lightweight alternative. Although it also adds some textures for most SkyBlock items, it is significantly less complex. In comparison to the full version, the overlay edition does not add any vanilla blocks. It is therefore perfect as an add-on for other PvP texture packs.

How To Install FurfSky Reborn Texture Pack

Here’s a simple guide for PC users on installing FurfSky Reborn in Minecraft Java Edition. If you’re using Minecraft Bedrock Edition and the pack is available for Bedrock/MCPE, you can simply click on the downloaded file to install it.

To use all the cool features in this pack, download and install OptiFine.
Download the FurfSky Reborn texture pack for Minecraft from the file section below. Pick the file that matches your Minecraft edition and version.
Launch Minecraft.
Click "Options" on the main menu.
In the options, go to the submenu “Resource Packs”.
Click "Open Pack Folder" at the bottom left to see a folder titled "resourcepacks".
Put the downloaded ZIP file into your "resourcepacks" folder. Or, just drag and drop it into the Minecraft window to add the pack.
You will see the pack on the left side of the resource pack selection menu. Unzip the file if you can't see the pack.
Hover over the pack thumbnail and click the arrow pointing right.
If the game says the pack is for a newer or older Minecraft version when you activate it, don't worry! It's just a heads-up. Click 'Yes' and enjoy the new textures – it won't affect your gameplay.
Click "Done" and all assets have been loaded.
