How to get a parking pass at Penn State Behrend? ›

Purchase Parking Permits Online

Simply complete the online Parking Registration Form and stop by Parking Services in 2–3 business days to receive your permit. (If you have received a parking ticket, please pick up your permit as soon as possible after completing the online process to avoid receiving another ticket.)

Fans with single-game tickets are encouraged to purchase car and RV parking in advance for by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Lines are opened on weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fans are reminded to purchase parking at least 15 days prior to the game, or Friday at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center.

Academics: While both campuses offer rigorous academic programs, University Park is the main campus and tends to have more academic resources, research opportunities, and a wider range of majors to choose from. Penn State Behrend, on the other hand, offers smaller class sizes and a more intimate learning environment.

Hourly parking is available at the rate of $1 per hour ($16 daily maximum fee) in the East, HUB, Nittany, and West parking decks, with payment required 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Any vehicle parked along curbs or sidewalks, hindering/damaging university operations or property, or obstructing roadways, designated disability parking spaces, wheelchair ramp laydown (hashed out) areas, bus pull-offs, fire safety lanes, or reserved spaces is subject to ticketing and/or towing at the owner's expense.

Available Lots

The following lots have visitor parking: AMIC Lot (purple section only*), Almy Lot (green section only*), Benson Lot, Burke Lot, Erie Lot, Jordan Road Lot, Junker Lot, Nick Lot, Parking Deck (upper-level), Prischak Lot, Reed Lot.

First-year students at the University Park campus aren't permitted to have cars on campus. However, most Penn State Commonwealth Campus locations can provide student permits to newly enrolled students.

Hourly, daily, and overnight parking options are available for University Park visitors. Pay for parking at select areas with the ParkMobile app.

COST: Admission is free for the Blue-White Game.

As its largest campus, University Park is the school's most popular first-choice campus. However, this makes admissions to University Park more competitive, with higher unofficial Penn State GPA requirements and stronger Penn State SAT scores.

Those not mentioned above or who have questions regarding online registration may contact the Parking Office at (517) 355-8440 to inquire about obtaining a parking permit. Permits are sold online at https://permits.police.msu.edu.

The appropriate parking decal will be issued by the University Cashier's Office upon receipt of a (1) Motor Vehicle Registration Application, (2) a valid copy of a current state vehicle registration, (3) Valid Driver's license, (4) the applicable registration fee, and (5) VSU identification card.

Customers can manage their account, purchase parking permits and transit passes, view citations, and review communications using their Parking Account Portal. You are eligible to exchange your permit for an available permit listed for purchase. Available permits are on a first come first served basis.
