The idea of a "Twitter Wrapped" was floated around the site in early December 2024, as seen in a December 4th post by user @Kulfei,^[1] who wrote, "I WANT A TWITTER WRAPPED," and a December 5th post by @coupjeonghae_,^[2] who posted a Spotify Wrapped edit featuring two members of the K-pop band Seventeen.

The X account ExaAILabs^[3] made a post announcing their "2024 Twitter Wrapped" tool^[4] on December 26th, 2024, writing, "Exa-powered AI finds your favorite topics, top tweets, and even whether you’ve been naughty/nice 😈." The post gathered over 1,000 likes in a day.

Several X users shared the results of their Twitter Wrapped on December 27th, 2024, as seen in a post by X / Twitter user @wifekisser303,^[5] who wrote, "my twitter wrapped has me eyeing the toaster," receiving over 140 likes in less than a day.

Also on December 27th, X^[6] user @MandoDoesStuff also posted a section of their Twitter Wrapped, gathering over 100 likes in a day.
